Default Finally my S2000 is on the road.

Hi Guys,

I sold my previous S2000 to buy a Mitsubishi Evo which I love but I have always missed the S2000 so last year during winter I bought an S2000 but kept it off the road because the weather was awful and it was to be used as a third car so I thought I would get it modified just before the start of the summer.

I was planning on taking some decent pictures today but unfortunately the weather has turned and it has rained all day so these quick pics I took with my phone yesterday will have to do for now.

Notable Mods are:

Smoothed Front End - looks much slicker in my opinion without the ugly washer jets and the numberplate holder.
Genuine Honda Racing Red and Black Badges
Lightweight Enkei PF-01 17" Staggered Wheels with 17x9 Rear and 17x8 Front. Perfect S2000 fitment and I think they look awesome. Fitted with brand new Yokohama AD08 Tyres.
AEM V2 Induction Kit -nice roar.
Leather Wrapped Steering wheel with red stitching - makes the car feel much more premium!
Geometry set to WIM recommended settings.

Overall I am pretty pleased to be back in an S2000. Car is a little two quiet for me and I am slightly dissapointed with the induction kit, it is not loud enough!!! I had a K'N system in my previous S2000 which was awesome but I had heard good thing about the AEM and the design seems better but its not as loud... still sure I'll think of something.....

Thanks
Anees

Lovely looking car! What did the wheels set you back?

I know what you mean about the AEM V2, that dual chamber thing really mutes the intake growl, it does seem to be a good design.

I have an injen cai now, which follows the exact same route, and it's 50 times louder!

Me too, wheels look quite smart!

Don't like the way you painted the calipers though

Thanks guys!

What is wrong with the calipers? Is it the colour or the fact I have also sprayed the back of the front pads? lol

I like the calipers!

I think it looks smart, better than my half rusted, grey calipers I have!

Do you have a link to the intake you have? I am very interested. My old K'N, as soon as the car hit VTEC it would bark and grow - this AEM to just too damn quiet!!

YES, keep the real mods inside and compliment the outside. Only another S2000 owner would notice and apreceate the difference.
AS for the red calipers-
And the steering wheel-
