looks ! im surprised how much boot space you still have left.

whats the depth of JL mids?are you using spacers with them?

bigfecker: I really wanted to install the ipod in the the centre console, but I use that area too much - so decided to use the glovebox. I admit its not the ideal location, but most of the time the ipod is on shuffle anyway so it doesnt even see daylight

kelk: satellite radio is a US thing....I love it and so far even after 18months still havent seen anyone else mount it on the radio door

tebs: i did the install this way because i still want boot space - i still intend on using it occasionally for weekend trips and such. I am going to make a 2 piece plexiglass floor, which will protect the CF weave from whatever I put in there. As far as the speakers, im not sure of the exact depth, but yes i needed spacers - both for depth AND the mounting pattern. You could also cut out your stock speaker baskets instead.

Oh - are there any issues with US ICE being used in the UK? ie like home AV runs off different voltages etc. Given the

You have the nice Alpine link though which I beleive gives you more control and the track names are shown on the HU screen, so probably a better place.

Plus you get to keep the CD changer.
