Default Fitting a spare ECU

My S came with an AEM EMS, and no spare ECU.

I can get a spare ECU from a breaker, but seem to remember there is an issue with matching it to the car keys.

I should know this, but I haven't done it before

Anyone done this?

I guess Honda can do it, and I could get there on the AEM with a base map.

You could put a jdm ECU in.

They didnt have a alarm built in.

I have one you can try to if that helps.

None of the OEM ECUs had alarms built in ..... but they all have immobilisers IIRC.

If it is a temporary thing try and borrow a Mugen or Spoon ecu.
