I have seen it stated many times that the digital rev counter flashes close to the limit, is this true? mine doesn't, can it be turned on and off or is it related to year of manufacture
I have an 01 and I believe its an import from Belgium

 

Mine does - MY00 UK
My last one did - MY00 EU

 

Mine does, UK '00 car.
It's just the red bit around 9000rpm that flashes..

 

Both my 00 and 04 do.

 

Mine does, but you have to take it into the red section in the rev counter

 

I don't normally notice it though - I'm too busy grinning like an idiot at that part of the rev range

 

Just smack it into the limiter and you'll know if it works or not. Mines flashes daily and normally way more than once
