Thumbs up FleaBay: Washer pump

Hi Guys - my washer pump stopped working a good while back and now i fear the dark wet grimy nights are coming in i really think its a good idea to get it fixed!

Ive checked the fuses (all fine) and looked for blockages etc... But theres no sound from the motor.
Im guessing the motor is dead....

I came across this add on fleabay for an S2000 pump for £6.18 posted???? I mean i paid twice as much for one of my PIAA sidelights

S2000 washer pump - EBay

Could this be legit and the answer to my problems, or might it further them?

A safer bet may be this from Halfords,

Although for £7 delivered, why worry, give it a try. If its crap at least you can have fun toying with the seller, threatening negative feedback!

It's just a switched pump

Things like that should be cheap

Seller appears to have excellent feedback, so there should be no need to worry.

I had one fitted to my old S2000 by Honda and it was around £100.00..

I bet that pump will be fine. I'm sure you can make it fit and for that money it's worth a punt.

Have you checked the fuse? They're even cheaper.

I needed one for my MOT. The garage that was doing it ordered it from Honda-£62. £6 one makes me think it may not last?!?

Look, it's a pump that switches on and off.

It has to deal with no pressure, no corrosive fluids, no high/low temperatues, just to work.

£7 is about the right price.

I do wish some of you people would wake up and smell the rip off prices you are being subjected to!
