Default The Floods and the S thread

Just wanted to know? Been looking at sky for the last 2 days and wondered if any 1 has?

My little baby is tucked up in bed. But this could all change.

I specifically decided to get a hire car for my trip to Warwick and Mickleton tomorrow. Didn't fancy chancing my arm!

I came within 2 inches of the S being under water - it flooded everywhere outside with the garden being 2 feet under water ..... but the S was on our drive which is ever so slightly higher than the rest of the house ... thankfully !

Watching the water rise up the side of my car was not exactly pleasant .....

On the news last night was a story covering the floods... then the presenter said something along the lines of "some people were more optimistic" followed by an aerial shot of what I swear was an S driving through deep water with the hood down!!
