Turtle commented recently that his car could keep with an SC upto 100. I know Brian had some Mugen kit as well, but I think he was running a longer FD than a 4.625 (actually, I only remember Biker1 running a different FD (4.44 or 4.57?), but presumably Brian did as well?)

Yup but 0-100 it would probably be ok.

I will find KS and ask him to comment - im sure he took his S/C off in favous of gears as someoen kept up with him! Hard to think it possible in theory...

I guess that is what Nigel is also running.

Got those sterring rack bushes fitted yet Steven? Interested to hear your comments. My steering is now lighter as a result of running less castor (to quicken turn in) and removing a lot of front brake weight must further lighten the steering considerably. I'd like to know how mush additional steering feel the harder bushes give

I don't think the geared car against an SC car is a good comparision.

Geared will pull lower down and runs out of top end.
SC delivers peak power at the top end.
I'm with you on this one, that's why you need gears and SC.

Adman, id really like to see a stock S2000, your car (gears) and a Comptech car all lined up for a sprint. Would make great viewing.

I think KStokell was saying a while back, that a geared car kept up with his S/C car upto about 100....?
Im sure some yanks, said my car would keep up with a SC s2000 till about 60 odd mph, then get incrementally murdered!

Im sure id get murdered after 60 odd too! I dont know how says bibbs or others are compared to an M3, but reagarding my ecounter a bit ago i was not murdered by the M3.
