Front disks,
Alright guys, just brought myself some EBC turbo disks for the front of the s, dimpled and grooved
.
Also managed to get some pads cheap 2 , ferodo premier's says they fit type r and s2000.
Anythink i should look out for when changing the disks saterday, ive only done a disk change on a polo before.
Tools needed ect?

thankyou for the responces, had to work 2day so didnt get round to it. just wondered if any1 who had done it before would give me some advice on what tools ide need to get from work ect b4 i start....
It's really straight forward. Just make sure that you have some copper grease and a clamp (to compress the pistons back in the caliper).
As far as normal tools go, 12/14mm socket with extension (easier than spanners). You may need to get an impact driver and heavy hammer to remove the two phillips head screws that hold the disc in place. Mine were so tight that they buggered my driver, so they had to be drilled out. Don't worry too much if you haven't got some screws to replace them with if you need to go down this route, just ensure you have seated the disc correctly before putting the wheel back on.
If you can wait a few days, I may be able to pop along and give you a hand...but it is a very simple job with the right tools. I'm sure a search of the whole site will give you a detailed explanation if you get stuck.
BTW, you're probably pissing a few people off with your spelling.

Thankyou that the sort of reply i was looking for, i dnt really mind what people think about my spelling tbf, just gathering information, you keyboard warriors can carry on lol.
Ile bear that in mind if i get stuck but im sure ile be ok. thats cleared the piston thought up aswell i thought they might have to be wound back.

Exactly, i know its easy to pick faults
but i for one being around your age cant be arsed deciphering setences sometimes.

Anyway ive done it now
, i dont think they have ever been off before.
I had to knock the wheels off with wood and a hammer from behind,
The disk holding bolts i had to use a centre punch and hammer to spin them off!!
I brought some new bolts for the disks and applyed a liberal amound of copper slip to everything i removed. all in all a pretty easy job.
17MM breaker bar and ratchet for the caliper bolts and a G clamp to push back the pistons
All done but now i have no brakes for a while.
I ajusted my handbrake cable aswell as that was quite slack and greaced up the rear capiler mechanisms for god measure.
Thankyou for the people who replyed. they look top notch. i
i might go about painting the calipers up next.
I was thinking red but that might look abit chavvy?
any opinions??
