So lazy, stupid and thread crash question.....

How do you remove the front plate surround? I've removed the 2 x 10mm screws but it seems to be stuck on. Is there another fix inside or is it likely that a garage may have bonded it?

^^ should come off easily once the two bolts are removed. You tried pulling it gently to see if it'll rock a little? You might then be able to see down the back if there's anything sticking it on.

The bottom seems to move but it appears stuck that the top, presumably glued...

Not glued mate. There are two bolts holding the plate surround.

I had the same problem. It's a bumper remove job.

Or what I did was cut the plate surround down the middle and it will slide off, and of course you will not be able to use the surround again.

Then you will have to angle grind the remaining two bolts off.

And cover them with flat grommets.
