As Garage R seems to be on ice indefinitely, it's MOT and Service time and we sadly have to look at somewhere other than Rob's. Anywhere to be avoided or particularly recommended?

We're in South Yorkshire, so might end up at the main dealer at Mushroom Garage in Rotherham, also looking at TDI North and ABP, but it's a bit of a trot for a Service and MOT!

It may be a bit of a trek but I know many a poster have said good things about Marshalls in York

 

Rob is working at the Renault / Peugeot garage (can't remember which one) in Barnsley at the minute, if that helps??

You could go there and ask if Rob could do it personally?

Couldn't you have him do it at the peugeot dealer then? Supply your own oil and filter and he can work his magic with his Peugeot hat on?

That was effectively what I did - bought the gear and got Rob to do the job using their garage.

Might give Marshalls a try, have just discovered TDI North don't do MOTs (could have sworn their website said they did...)

 

I used vtec direct for my servcie and MOT and they did't do anything wrong! Price was decent as well.

 

Big for Marshalls York.

 

Mines booked in for a service at TDI North on the 16th.

I usually take my car to Honda Crewe for it's MOT

 

I'm gonna see Rob this Saturday and I'll ask him what's up.
