Default Gear Knobs!

Yo,

I know this has been asked a few times previously (I've been through the threads) but does anyone prefer an aftermarket gear knob to that of the leather wrapped OEM jobbie?

I hear great things about the Skunk2, however the bold emblem on the side doesn't do much for me.

Some say the lower and heavier knobs improve the feel
Most seem to go for the thin higher ones now for less effort

Skunk'd right here.
To be honest you don't notice the emblem and I've got the one with the 10 year anniversary thing on the side too.

^^ +1 for the skunk knob also. It is actually a really beautiful thing, I don't really notice the logo, but the red numbering on the dark grey brushed metal is really sexy! And it does improve shifting because of the extra weight, I totally recommend it.

Won't the carbon fiber one above be really light? How's the shift feel with that?

I prefer the non-leather wrapped OEM knob.

Skunk2 for me. Agree, you barely notice the "SKUNK2" on the side. Red lettering is good and goes well with the car!

Quaife white nylon one for me, had it years, light as a feather and no markings on it at all.
