Well, I suppose I should be relieved it lasted all of 6 months unscathed but I got back from holiday on Wednesday to find someone had driven along the front drivers side of my S and not left a note or anything.

A neighbour noticed it when he got back from work and saw two blokes looking at it and a white transit van with a long Moonrock coloured scratch and took down the number.

I've reported it to the police and am hoping they trace someone as the

I hope you get a response, but my cynical (or is that realistic) side says if the police don't care when people get beaten up or cars are written off, that you'll be lucky to get anything from them

gutted for you, stupid question but can you not park it anywhere safer than it is? i am guesing from the picture in your sig that you have to park it on the road which is a risk at any time and living in london all the harder to find a garage. quick turn around for getting it fixed though.

Provided they are insured your insurers will pursue it from the reg no, as there is a witness. Let's hope they get a move on before the van gets fixed
