I've relocated my sports mode to the 4th secret compartment, keeps it away from prying eyes and means I don't accidentally catch it when I'm pootling around town.

So you only have four secret compartments? It must be an early model thing then

Every time I pull on the "sports mode button" the sodding petrol cap opens, is this a known issue? is there a service bulletin?

Last time I checked, the 2007 model had 7 or 8 compartments.

I think those additional secret compartments were a no-cost option on later model cars, but not many people found the box to tick on the order form.

Rich - I think there was a recall done on that issue as people were finding that engaging sports mode would cause the car to pull to the left.

I believe sorting this out is a DIY job but it may be best to take it in to your dealer so that you can have your service history updated.

On >02 models, you can have the remote-roof opening button on your keyfob reconfigured to disable enable sports mode before you get in the car. Perhaps this would be better?

I put my owners manual in the forth secret compartment, now I can't find the damn thing......I think it's moved, or fallen through the dimensional displacement hatch into secret compartment eight.

And Keith I can't use the remote roof button any more as I changed the battery and now it opens every roof in Europe.

The sports mode button conceled in the door opening is in fact the petrol flap release, Ho Ho Ho....as for secret compartments there are an infinate number hiding in several different dimentions

We on the S2KUK forum have no sence of humor as we know it.
