Going to be fitting Eibach springs
I'm thinking about fitting a set of Eibach springs in the next few months. From the various threads I've been reading, the following parts are advisable, but not essential. Since the car is a keeper I'd rather do it properly. My car is a MY 2005.
- Adjustable rear toe arms (I read one thread suggesting this was only required on pre 2004 cars???)
- Driveshaft spacers
- Front steering rack spacers
The questions are:
- How much are each of these parts to buy?
- Any good suppliers in the UK? (hence the thread in this section)
- What's the approx fitting time for each, any special tools required or are the all DIY?
Oh and slightly related, but how do I get more negative camber at the front, I've hardly have any compared to other cars I've owned in the past.
And before anyone mentions it, car full be getting another full geometry check afterwards
Thanks in advance.

TBH I wouldn't fit any of those parts with the mild drop Eibachs will give.
IIRC MB had Eibachs on one of his old S2000s--I'm sure he had no other supporting supension mods and thought the car handled very well. Maybe he will chime in, or you could always do a search.
Why do you think you need more negative camber on the front?
Chris.

Na you'll be alright with just the springs mate. The rear toe arms are for ditching the passive rear steer effect from toe alterations when the rear squats.
On a really low car of course (a little past what the eibachs offer) the shaft spacers etc would come into play.

Good to know guys, thanks for the advice. I usually take the cautious approach as I don't want to be wearing out more expensive components or even worse end up with a car that's a handful on the road.
I'll be over in the US soon and can get Megan drive shaft spacers, steering rack spacers and adjustable rear toe arms for £200. Still tempted...

Hi
I have eibachs fitted to my car. With the relatively low drop (25mm front, 30mm rear) I haven't gone with any other supporting modifications other than a thorough geo session.
We are able to supply them at £242.99
Let me know if you need any more info.
