I paid £7800 for one with 40k and full Honda history in October last year, all it needs is one of the rear arches redoing and it's mint. Feel like I stole it now! And it just passed its MOT today with no advisories

Cheapest one on PH is £7.5k at the moment and there's 8 more NSX for sale than S2000 just based on numbers shown (some may just be adverts)

I paid 12k about a month ago for an 04 with 25k on for reference. Yes it seems they have gone up quite a bit over the last few years ! But I was very happy to pay that , as so many I looked at were utter dogs .

I looked at 4 that were dogs and tbh the one I bought I thought was underpriced so took a punt and bought it there and then. Turned out I did good cos it is definitely a good un. It had a new roof and bridgestones last year and a full Honda history.

Its funny, Autocar didn't mention the S2000 for years then its was a big feature for two weeks and in again recently...then this week its mentioned once more on the back of an article in sister magazine Classic & Sports Cars... reporting that the experts there reckon the top 5 appreciating modern classics are BMW e46 M3, Subaru Impreza P1, Ford Racing Puma, Honda S2000 & Nissan 350Z

:-)

Price is still very cheap in the UK, that's why a good few are imported to the mainland.

Here in Belgium LHD prefacelift S2000's in good condition and around 100k km usually sell for around 15.000 EUR or more (about 12.500 GBP).
2006-2009 models go for well over 25.000 EUR, that's why RHD UK cars are so popular here. You get the same car for half the price or less.
It's also cheaper to buy an entire UK car than just buying a used engine here in case you blew it up.

WOW! That's some step up in price. If I ever sell mine, I will first drive across the pond!

This why mine is going in for front end paint / new roof this spring and a wheel refurb. Ones in good condition, the prices are only going to go one way and new yoof / drift heroes will see to the rest.

Wish I still had my red one! It was Mint! 04 and only 13k! I paid £10k nearly 3 years ago now.
