Default Gone....So long

And with great regret my 01 MCB has gone.......................a number a factors mostly to do with costs and constant tinkering{wife says}.

When i started doing the costs to get to and from work and just general upkeep of my car there was nigh on a 2k difference in running a little fart box diesel or Fiat or Peugot in a year.

Plus ive found a lot of garages won't trade and offer ridiculous part ex if they do{6.5k on 51 plate with 65000 on the clock} the arse appears to be dropping out of the market, a lot to do with increased tax and fuel, i eventually got 8.5k, which i still think is way below but there are no takers out there.?????????
B in law works for a franchised BMW dealer and they are not touching X5s at the mo as they are dropping 3k+ a month............not even new ones.

Its been great here, and i will miss the chat and humour.............but until i can afford to run another S2K a bid you all farewell.

Would you sell your house in a falling market too?
Let me know when it comes up.

Yes, if buying something else. The differentials remain roughly the same.

In fact, keep the money and buy an X5 in a few months instead...

Which means prices will go up as soon as they start writing them off!

Personally, I never bought it as a 'look what I drive' car and I won't be selling it for another 30 months minimum.

ImprEvo's will always be the preferred choice of the 'Barry' because 'its got a tirbo, innit'
