Default Goodbye

Goodbye all. I have had enough of the decline on here over the last couple of months. I used to come on this forum to have discussions about a car that I am quite fond of, help out those needing help as and when I could, and have a bit of a silly natter now and then.

There is a recent generation of owners that have invaded this space over the last two months that don't have a good sense of when to talk and when to keep their mouths (or typing fingers) shut. I am not interested in the discussions that have moved to the Max Power end of the spectrum, especially when the folks that want this have little sense of irony and are more than a little sensitive.

Perhaps it's the brain damage I received as a result of a car accident in 2009, but I am a lot less patient than I was before with even less ability or desire to cope with people who speak drivel and give the impression of having a much lower than average intelligence.

I will not be attending any West Midlands meets because two of the primary perpetrators of this decline go and I really don't want to spend my leisure time with children.

I may still pop in every once in a while, but unless some intelligent discourse returns I will not maintain participation.

Best of luck.

Use the ignore button?

I agree with you on nearly everything you say, but I wouldn't let it stop you owning the car and visiting the forum.

Still, little bitchings here and there is entertaining

It's all good banter between owners!
The intelligence I lack is made up in posting humerous photos of my car on grass verges!

See GT!
We want attention in our clunge magnet cars, you want it in your own thread of leaving!
You are a character and I actually think you are a funny guy! I think I could have a beer with you but you just need to lighten up a bit.
On a serious note, I do think you should stay.
