Default Got the evidence from Dumfries & Galloway

After searching approx 115 times for "dumfries", "carlisle", "m74" and getting no luck, I'm making a new thread. I wrote back to them confirming I was the driver and that I wanted to see the evidence.

They never mentioned anything further though. I never sent them the NIP back cos it was... well I spilled tea on it. But I wrote to them previously confirming I was the driver, but nothing else was mentioned.

Should I just write back to get them to hurry up and prosecute me or what?

As for the picture, you can see I was in a trio of cars all doing practically an identical speed as neither of us were in any particular rush. I'll put money on the fact that I'm the only one who was caught though, as I was driving a red sports car in the outside lane.

86mph?!

Can't you see that child clearly playing in the outside lane just up ahead? Think of the carnage you could have caused!?

Seriously though - write back and ask for proof that the laser reading wasn't coming off the car next door...?

or... Are you sure that's you in the picture?

How do you work that one out? They could have been standing still in that picture and you're just overtaking them

From what I can see you were caught napping mate. That Vauxhall has pulled several car lengths on you!

It was actually pishing of rain about a few miles back and I stopped to put the roof up. Then it dried so just after the pricks caught me speeding I lowered the roof again to try and fuggedaboudit.

I'd have said the same had it been someone else.

If you were doing identical speeds, why weren't you in the same lane as the car in front? You know that outside one is for use by BMW only.

Sorry guv, just wasn't in the mood for VTEC (6 hour drive ahead of me) hence wanting to just crawl past and not draw attention to myself. Fat lot of good it did me.
