You have the 2 brackets at the rear and 2 at the front. The side ones are on the hard top with the spikes in them. I have the new strikers so the 2 brackets i need, are they the ones to attach begind the plastic to hold the spikes in?? If so hard top guy will do the 2 brackets and new plactic trims for

The only brushes I can think of are the ones which cover the armature mechanism for the soft top. They cover the slot that the arm moves through as the top raises.

When you have the HT fitted the spikes go down through the front part of that slot (and hence through the brushes). I always assumed Honda simply trimmed them on a GT(!)- but I guess there must be two different type - GT (trimmed) and non GT?

Hope that helps

The plastic moulding is slightly different. The non GT ones CAN be modified however.

TBH

have a ring round the breakers, i got my set from fenland but you need to go looking to get a better idea, the bushes can be trimmed, very easy and does not take long to do, can also drill out for the hard top wiring plug if you are careful.

this might help if you have not got it, you only need the rear strike parts and your away. somebody will sell only these to you but its finding that someone, hard top guy is charging you for all the little bits you dont really need so its a waste.

Like Fraser says you can just buy the brackets from Honda or HT Guy. You need to get them off an existing car.
