Default GP FAB Diffuser

My previous post about a possible group buy has been removed for not following the official GB rules (sorry ).

I was only exploring the possibity of someone else organising a proper GB (and complying with the rules) because I don't have the time/facilities for the UK logistics (or even meet the official criteria).

Further products details here.

GP Fab Diffuser

GB rules here:

GB Rules

If someone has the time and enthusiasm (and can meet the required criteria) to arrange then a substantial discount can be obtained for 5 or more units.

Just putting it out there as I am going to buy one irrespective so others can benefit. Will wait until next week before placing my order.

Merry Xmas

Difficult one to organise as the cost of shipping from the US and internally within the UK would be quite high due to the size. At a rough guess I would say that it would cost around £350 fully inclusive of shipping, import duty and VAT. How much is it for just the one?

The GB rules are quite strict, though reasonable, to prevent another Puppy (disorganised dickhead) from running one.

looks like a great product but im shocked no one has looked into getting some manufactured in the uk as it looks a very simple design and the mateials wouldn't cost much,

I imagine if you got say x10 made the costs would come down even more

By the time you have included shipping and import tax you can certainly add somewhere in the region of £100 to the initial cost

From the information Jordan has provided he will sell them at $440 for a single shipment or €365 each for 5 to a single UK address. Assuming a rate of 1.56 and duty (3.5%) then VAT (20%) then a further £20 for local shipping they work out at £350 for a single or £310 (£290 to the organiser) for 5 (reducing to £255 for 15 but highly unlikely). Plus that doesn't include anything for whoever organises the whole purchasing and would need someone who has access to packaging etc.

As you say a difficult one to organise but just thought I would share in case someone was interested before I make my own purchase. I am also going to buy a hard top kit and try and get them shipped together .

If someone in the UK had one of these or was to make up a template, i could have a batch of these made in my factory pretty easily.

Its a simple sheet metal product.

Isn't this the one that D2-Tex just bought and hasn't fitted to his car yet?
