GT Grafix
I ordered a sunstrip (don't ask, it was a joke-type thing) for the S.
There are no measurements given on GT Grafix website, but I specified that it was for an S2000.
When the strip arrived it was far too big - obscured half the windscreen, and it was not possible to cut it to size as it had writing on it.
GT Grafix have told me I should have realised it wouldn't fit, in fact their actual words were:
"The strip we supplied is a universal size and I appreciate that your
car may only have a small windscreen but I think that should have been
considered before you placed an order for this product."
My answer to them was, considering they do not provide any measurements on their website, and I informed them what car it was for, how could I possibly know it would not fit.
They refuse to discuss any sort of refund, and just ignored my reply to their email.
What a bunch of cowboys. Rude on the phone, rude over email, and in this case in breach of trade description - the goods should be fit for the purpose for which they are sold, and in this case they were not.
Thing is, can I really be bothered to pursue them for something that cost

Just checked out the site myself as I'm bored at work (and it's only 9.00 a.m.!
)
Can't see any mention of sizes either (a pretty basic consideration I would have thought). Can't believe the 'Commendations' before you even enter the site - who are they written by do you think?
I quite fancy the 'No Fear' or 'Clifford' sunstrips myself - should really chav-up the S a treat!
As you say Dreamer, is it worth following up for

Sadly Jo it does say on their website that the sun strips are universal and will fit all windscreens and it is up to the buyer to cut them to fit. Doesn't help you I know, but they've sadly not done anything wrong as far as I can see.
Did they not provide measurements over the phone? Or, did you not ask?
TBH, I've never had any problems buying stuff from them in the past and have always found them to be helpful and efficient.

Caveat emptor, I'm afraid. If you had asked and been told it would fit, that would be a different matter. (Although admittedly the lack of customer service once your mistake came to light is a bit woeful).
I can only speak from my own experience of them in getting some mis-spaced number plates made up and the service was excellent.
I would agree about the universal size thing, but due to the fact this had writing on it, the writing itself obscured the windscreen.
I can't see how I can cut the writing to size !
Also, I asked specifically if it would fit an S2000 windscreen - which blatantly it can't.
I accept that I can cut the block-colour bit to size, no issues with that at all, but you can't cut words in half !!!

Piss poor service considering you were specific and specified it was for an S2000.
