A few people have used Hancooks in the past, if you use the search. /gaspode mode off

Have you considered Toyo T1Rs? They aren't everyone's cup o' tea, granted, but I loved them. The trouble is they'll need replacing next week. I have Toyos on my Focus. Can't fault them for handling. I even overtook two S2000s the other day without any drama.

I have falkens on mine too and as me and saz discussed at Druids, they are a great tyre for the price!

At my work we fit hankooks to brand new golf gti's and octavia rs' and never have complaints. I think they are becoming a much more well respected tyre manufacturer nowadays.

Meeeoww!

You're just jealous because I've got a turbo.

Being serious, I really did enjoy my Toyos on the S. They just didn't last long enough. Might be worth a try, since they will only last a few months anyway.

Have you checked your email recently, Saz?

Got back to my tyre guy and it is the Hankook K415 he has quoted for. He can't get the V12 Evo. Shame because I was getting excited about trying something leftfield.

I like to shop locally and deal personally but am afraid I'm going to have to walk.

Event can't get the RE050A rears as they are out of stock at Bridgestone. They can't get the Hankook V12 Evo rears either.

They can do Falken 452s. Is this the one I want fester/Floppy or whoever else is in the know?

Thanks, if they are good enough for you, Saz, and some other select members they'll do me. Besides I haven't got a lot of choice, my rears are bald.

Legal is always a plus point - I don't think they'd rate as trackday tyres but for social mileage with the odd hoon they're fine. I get the impression all 4 of mine are going to need doing in a couple of months

I have Hankook V12s on my ATR (17" wheels). Nice tyres, quiet and handle well, but are a little soft compared to Vredesteins I was running. However at £70 a corner on 17"s you can't go wrong.

Not sure I would run them on my S though.

I have used Eagle F1s for the past 3 years and haven't liked them but as the fronts keep on living, I keep putting rears on to match them. The last set which I recently put on have been pretty good actually.
