Default hard top fitting kit

does anyone know how much these things cost and how easy they are to install?


im a cheap skate so any ideas where i can get one cheap

im thinking of getting a hard top before winter

A few people have just ripped the parts out of cars at breakers, not sure how much the breakers charge for them though.

Get it from jeff at hardtopguy.com mine cost about $400 USD IIRC, but i brought it back in a suitcase. He'll also know exactly what bits you need if you give him your MY details

cool 400 us is decent

im thinking of getting a hard top is it best if i buy the kit and fit it first or wait for the hardtop to come

If your going to buy the kit, then I suggest why your there you fit a My02+ roof to (you was looking into one, was'nt you???). I'm pretty sure you'll have to pull all the same parts out to fit it mate.

oooohh buggggger get the hard top first my roof is looking ok so far and i had a new window fitted recently so hopefully should last 3 years at least fingers crossed

I dont belive these rear screens crack when they are cold, its just down to them getting old. I think its S2KUK brought some strips you place on the inside of the roof, either side of the screen, they make the screen fold better, and not crease in the middle. certainly worth looking into.
