Default Hard Top and stuff!

I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times before and I have tried to use the search facility..... Is it bust or summik??

Anyway, what sort of ballpark figure would you be looking at to retro-fit a hardtop to a non GT S2K?? As far as I can gather apart from the obvious hardtop itself a fixing kit needs to be sourced also?? Is this main dealer only or rob it off a crashed donor vehicle??

Ta muchly.....

Quite pricey then...... Not much change from a grand then if it needs painting. Excluding a stand aswell.

I dunno on the colour front just trying to work out what 'value' a hardtop actually is in hard cash terms.......

Dealer prices vary wildly from what I've seen but they generally want to charge over

I got a roof and fixing kit by looking around for a long time - here and eBay.

Eventually got what I wanted - paid

I wouldn't bother with a H/T again - purely because of the amount of space it takes to store.

Just buy a bottle of aerospace 303 protectant to protect your soft top..Takes up a lot less room in the garage.

Mine's outside under a car cover on its stand...can't even see it from the house.

303 is ok to make your roof a bit darker but does not protect it from adverse weather conditions throughout the winter.

Doesn't stop it tearing either.
