Default Hardtop pricing

Hi All
Looking to move on my Nurby Blue hardtop complete with OEM stand and cover and after opinions as to how much I should let it go for.
It's pretty much immaculate with no dings, seals greased and cleaned and waxed before storage. Comes with all the catches etc on the hardtop side but not those in the car.
Opinion seems to be about the £1K mark for hardtop and fitting kit but without the kit?.....
Would you think I'm better waiting until the weather turns as people will more likely buy in the Autumn / Winter.
Thoughts appreciated
Steve

A load of people will be along shortly to tell you it's worth £4-500 tops. These are typically people that don't have one. My personal opinion is that it would be worth around £800 on it's own, but that could go slightly up or down depending on the colour and demand at the time.

I wouldn't sell mine as it is nice to have for the winter months and I prefer the look of the car with it on. It is also nice to have come sale time, I was more interested in cars that came with a hardtop but again that is a personal preference that not everyone shares as you will no doubt see from some of the comments that follow.

I bought a none immaculate, good cond one, for £350 but mine is Silverstone which is easy to get i guess

If you are prepared to wait you might get £600-700 but i wouldnt bet on it

The kits go for £350-400 ime

I would say £1k for the hardtop and fitting kit.

I haven't got the fitting kit though (not the brackets / wiring) in the car.
Cheers

I paid £450 for mine, very good condition. Fitting kit was £300 on eBay.

Chaps, my car is a GT so should have had all this from the factory.

I definitely don't have a hard top, but how do I know if I have the fitting kit?

Look down at the back of the doors/front or rear arch, you'll be able to see the latch holes for the GT roof. Look in my build thread for pics, page 2 or 3 I think.

Hardtop, stand and cover would be worth around £650 ..... but the colour can have an effect on the price.

(I could have bought a Nurby one with stand and cover for £450 earlier this year)
