don't know about the harness, but I've got a sub in the tool well space in the boot. MikeyK is your man, no doubt he'll be along soon to provide comments, he makes the enclosures. That is one option, works for me!

You can fit a sub under the roof tray, where the space saver was. There is a long thread on this in the Electronics forum. Many were sceptical but became true believers in the end!

Anyone up on the current Alpine range? It's my brother's birthday later this month so the old 'uns and I were considering clubbing together and getting him a decent mp3 head unit for his S -

was done already by previous owner when I got the S. All I know is that the HU is really welded in as I can't get it out with normal removel keys (want to put ipod iface box in). Think it's a trip back to oxford car audio to ask what they did

Mark, look at the model specs on the Alpine website and see if the cheaper model has RCA outputs and T Correction, they would be my two main requirements. Can you post a link to the specs? I'm too lazy/busy to have a rummage.

PS I don't think I've ever gone around London to them Southern parts!

Too slow, I had a look myself Mark I don't see digital Time Correction listed in the cheaper HU specs, but it is listed for the more expensive one.

And why does it need that particular gizmo then, O Audio Paper Lawyer....? Is it a must-have, bearing in mind that it's not going to get hooked to a whizz-bang amp and sub set-up like the Armstrong Wheels-of-Steel mobile disco
