Oh by the way, I can categorically state that a wide brim safari hat even WITH a string under your chin, doesn't work very well on the motorway.

Unfortunately it was all I had available to protect my badly sunburnt bonce on the way back from Bristol on my first weekend of ownership

Being strangled by your own apparel while doing 80mph after it blows off, is not an experience I wish to repeat

I have baseball caps and a bandana for the summer, but for winter I bought this at the rally - haven't tried it yet !

That looks ideal - I find woolly bunnets and beanies hurt my ears after a while.

If I have a decent neckwarmer or scarf though, I find I don't need a hat.

Blacks do a black ski had with red horns .... some might say it makes me look like a nob, but it matches the berlina / pimp red colour scheme perfectly !
