they have found one hew: although still not going to be here on time - MOT runs out Tues so will be off road until Fri when they should have received the part from Japan, fit it and then put it through the MOT again..

Robbery really but still - gotta be spent.

I wonder if the MOT guy will do an as thorough job this time round considering he passed everything but the O/S light last week.. He better not find something else thats for sure

glad to hear they found 1, it's a shame about the delay (never mind)

regards the re-MoT it should just sail through

On both of my last 2 S2000 MOT's this has been recommended, however with enough patience they will manually adjust to get the beam correct and pass an MOT.

Thats what I hoped but I went to manually adjust and the adjuster is knackered. totally shagged unfortunately. Just flaps around. I can wiggle it with my hand up and down - def busted

I wonder what loan car I will get Guess asking for something pokey wont hurt getting a Jazz would suck though

TBH - I have to say the over all experience with my 'new' dealer has been awesome. They know who I am and what I am talking about, call me with updates, actually appear to go out of their way to provide that thing most dealers fail on Service. They know me when I phone up - remember me when I walk through the door x months later.. The thing is they work as a team. The parts guys, mechanic, cst service, receptionist all know what each other is doing. They know Dave has ordered the parts, Mark is ready to fit them, Nikki has a temp car & MOT sorted... It's like clockwork! I know it isnt much to ask for but they run their business like you or I would..

thumbs up to Maidstone!
