Was wondering if i change the standard headunit do i loose all the controls on the dash...???

I've got that onto my Alpine HU.
I got Focal co-axial (My00/01 don't have tweeters).
I got an Alpine iPod interface box.

Then i've got a JL amp and sub.

A upgraded HU will improve things a bit but the stock speakers are made from thick paper. The Focals are a great upgrade. Think they were in the

I was planning to upgrade speakers too but was amazed how good headunit sounded - so never bothered. Maybe an upgrade at a later date when I get bored of current sound - but the stock speakers are very good with the right headunit.
