Default Hello

Hello to you all,

I am on the verge of buying an S2000 and I need some help from you S2000 gurus.
I have been driving an MGF fro the past 5yrs now and decided to switch to more power and undoubtedly the S2000 would be a perfect and much better replacement.

My goal is to come to the UK and import it over to Malta. Locally the S2000 is very expensive and it would be much more feasible if I do this move. What will I get with a budget of GBP 9000 - 10000 ? I do not know whats the market value over there.

Can someone point me out any defects what to look for in an S2K ?

Can I have a list of sites S2000 dealers in the UK who might have good S2000s ?

Hope to form part of this forum / community sometime in the next future.
Greetings for the season to all of you UK S2000 owners.

Cheers

For 9 to 10K you won't get very much. Maybe a couple of front wheels and a spark plug or two!

Much better figure to work with.

Check the for sale board here as it is a good place to start. Should get a good 02 example for that. Comes with the glass rear window, slightly different alloys and suspension setup.

Good choice of car!

with Baptistsan. Take a look here first.

You could always try http://www.autotrader.co.uk as well as http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.asp?p=1&s=327

Good luck....

Wouldn't you be better off trying to get one from Japan? A UK car will already have had a lot of extra tax payed on it, if you get a JDM one you'll only have to pay your local taxes.

I know someone with an FTO in Malta, and they were only ever sold in Japan, so it is possible.
