Default Hello from Croatia

Just reached Porec in Croatia after 1500 miles. Stopped in Switzerland for 3 days. Got to 12000ft great clean air on the Jungfrauajoch Mountain.
Driven up as high as 7200ft and saw 2 x S2k today. First just into Italy from Swiss and 2nd just outside Brescia.
Played with a Carrarra 4 cab 996 yesterday. S2 did 248kmh so not embarrased

Hey Allan

Did you go up the Jungfraujoch in the funicular type contraption ? If so how was visibility up top ? Ice cavern, huskies, etc ? Lovely part of the world Lovely mountain waterfalls near Lauterbrunnen. Must go back there soon

Chris

Edit: Anyone want to see some holiday snaps from the area in Switzerland that Allan and Krissie were at ? Look here

Allan, might see you around soon - I'm off to Italy via France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and Switerland next Thursday. Look out for a GB stickered Nurby blue with hood down and loud choons pumping out.

BTW, how are you finding the Alpine nav's cross-boarder guidance? I'm only going to take a large scale road atlas so I'm hoping the 033R will see me right.

Ted the nav system has been flawless throughout our trip. Exception being it hasnt got Croatia so we find our own way around here. The funniest bits are when it talks to you in a local accent you will pi$$ yourself at this.

No problems en route or in city centres such as Laussane or Geneva etc.

Enjoy
