Default HELP!

I was driving home yesterday and noticed my S wasn't handling as normal, she felt all loose on the back end when taking right hand corners.

I thought I may have a slow puncture and went on to check my tyre pressures.... all fine.
I then thought it must be my imagination but i just tried her again and its not right.

As a used car salesman we have a service section with ramps so i just had a look and everything looks in order and i had an experienced fitter check it and it looks to be ok with nothing obvious.

I know its a long shot but does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can look for.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Exaclty my first thought. Especially after I had one stealership mess mine up and the car felt like it was on ice at the rear even on the dry-est of days.

you need to check the tracking alignment for sure, get the settings off the FAQ and take them with you when its checked. settings need to be very close to get the car feeling great.

Get the Geometry checked

Check all your nuts are tight.

Have you checked your tyre pressure gauge for accuracy? Do you check pressures when tyres are warm (wrong) or cold (correct)?

I would agree. The S2000's suspension is adjustable and consequently can be knocked out of alignment.

My right rear toe angle in particular was out and although still not perfect - they apparently had problems getting it to travel to the correct position - the car feels much better. Had the four wheel geometry checked at my local dealer as they have the kit.

Tracking ought to be part of the 4 wheel geo check
