Default Help - Caring for my top...

I take delivery of my S2000 soon and will probably get some Zymol for the paint...but what about the top. The FAQ mentions Porsche Tequipment and BMW Z products - I assume that these are available from Porsche or BMW dealers?
Do Honda make a product as well?
What about Autoglym fabric hood maintainer or Fabsil (as used by the TVR mob)
Any recommendations...?

Don't get Zymol - Get Zaino

I use the Porsche roof shampoo and have been very pleased with it.

The S2000's hood is vinyl, not cloth - the Autoglym kit is for cloth hoods.

Just about the worst thing you can do is apply the Autoglym fabric treatment to the vinyl top on your S2000, I know, I did it! I seriously doubt that it needs more than soap and water to keep it looking good. If you prefer a darker or 'blacker' look, Autoglym Bumper Care is recommended by many, but if you apply it to a roof previously treated with any other product you're likely to get patchy results.

Use Autoglymn bumper care on the hood, it's the biz.
Just make sure you apply it with a small sponge.

I get all my Porsche Tequipment and Zymol products from AutoFanatics.com, you'll likely find (as I do) that even with shipping and duty you can save on UK prices. Jim offers great customer service too.

Nick does have a point though - Zaino has a hell of a reputation with the guys from the USA.... If you look in the wash & wax forum any other suggestions for waxes/polishes are mercilessly crushed

Porsche Techquipment shampoo and a soft nylon brush (a 'soft' toothbrush is ideal) - but be gentle - dont scrub hard!!!

Have a look in this thread: Zaino - Europe The best source is probably direct from Sal at www.zaino.com but you need to send off an IMO as payment.
