Well i'd stick with what you've got for now then look again in a few years time, dont fix somthing that isn't broke

Knowing that Honda are working on a NSX and S2000 replacement means I'd wait until more details are available about them, as this could effect prices.
But if you really want to change your car I'd go with option 2
How old are you by the way?
The S is a great car to own for a youngster; I'm 28 and I still feel too young to be driving a posh car
All I would say is that you can't fake big purchases; just like big houses big cars cost money to upkeep. Maintenance on a TVR is gonna be big no matter how old the car is. I would imagine the NSX is no different. Tyres, services, petrol... it all adds up. Particularly if you have any other big committments on the horizon like a wedding or house purchase...
Anyway I sound like my dad now. Do what you want, but for your own sake don't max out in a financial climate that is getting more stormy by the day...

Thanks for all the opinions so far everyone, im sure you can all apreciate, it is a hard choice to make, but a lucky one to have
BSM139: folling my hear would be a TVR
but im trying to be sensible at the same time
RISLAR: i do understand your opion about not fixing it if it aint broke, but with it 8 years old now, its more likly to break, isnt it? but since its only done 38,000 it should be reliable for quite some time?
simonprelude: thats good to know about the NSX then. Been showing Gem pictures of these, and she just says it looks like a step down from a s2k, and they look like a cheap knock off of a lambo, i personally love them, but it does matter what she thinks also tbh
j8mie: didnt know that they were going to come out with replacements for them both, if that is the case i wouldnt get an NSX or S2000 as i wouldnt want the 'older' model, and i would sell mine well before they actually went on sale for value purpose. Going to have to look into this!
integra_man: im 23. I do totally understand what your saying about the costs of owning such cars, but all my petrol is covered, so thats a major concern i dont have to worry about.
