If it's got a rusty wheel arch, it could be a sign that the arch isn't a factory one (i.e. installed by a bodyshop) and the car has therefor been in a bump.

I paid slightly more than that for an import '99, but it was low miles and in the black/red I was after .. and it was *just* rolling on to summer ..

And I paid even slightly more than that for a MY00, but quite a high mileage at 70k miles.

The origional owner is a member on here.

He needed to sell, I wanted to buy .. We spoke on Email, came to an agreement on the Friday if the car was *sound* .. Saw it on the Saturday, it was, turned up Monday with cash

We seemed to be of a similar mentality, no bartering, no haggling .. just an agreed price and a beautiful car.

Shouldn't have thought a 5 year old car would rust. May cost a bit to get it all patched up, where the money could be spent on getting a good example? Now seems to be the time to buy as they'll get cheap.

Bit more than 10k .. but it's a minter, and not silly miles. And was in the colour I wanted
