I feel for you buddy. Sh1t like this always happens at the wrong time. It's no consolation now, but when you do get the dosh to sort it all out, you'll fall in love all over again.

Had a similar prob on a van few years back, turned out the tyre was warped ( or twisted, what ever way you want to put it lol) the thing felt as if it was crabing down the road, change the tyre and all was fine, sorry to hear about the wheels mate !

Classic case of penny-wise, pound-foolish, I'm afraid.

Budget tyres are shit, the higher profile will alter the suspension geo, where to start?

Get some decent tyres & take a ball pein hammer to the twunt who banged clip-on weights onto your wheels.

You had the wheels stolen?

Was the car taken?

How did they jack it up?

Maybe you have a bent rear toe arm?

Is it not worth making an insurance claim - I suspect it will far exceed any increase in your premium (especially if you have a few years NCB already)?

Just a thought.

I would take it to a garage and put it on ramps to make sure there is nothing sinister lurking underneath. All it takes is for one misplaced jack when they took the wheels in a rush and you have some bent toe arms and the like!

Did they manage to get through locking wheel nuts?!

That is properly crap, I don't know why people feel the need to not only take your wheels but then cause mindless damage. It is ridiculous.

And you can guarantee the police can't be arsed to find the culprits.

Grrr, really grinds my gears!
