Default Help Needed... think I broke it

I had the typical bog down hesitation at around 3000rpm... So after doing some research on here I thought I would unplug the map sensor give it a tap and reconnect it...

So I did however now the engine emissions light is on... I have checked the connection and also made sure its put back properly...

I did this with the engine off incase anyones asks... I repeated the process to try and get the light to go off...

Is it now a trip down the dealers? Its an 06 so has warranty...

Did the O ring fall out?

It sits under the sensor and is easy to lose...

PS - it's Engine Management or CEL, rather than an emissions light.

...well chiswick is not that far away...

You call it emissions Light? Do you mean the CEL Check Engine Light. small picture of an engine.

Dealership will be able to tell you what is wrong and will log the occurence of the problem. If you really don't want to bother with the dealer then you can reset by disconecting the battery but do you know your radio code? no idea if that loses any other preferences.

If Honda do what to charge you for reading the code, I'd ask someone on hear local to you to see if they can read and ID the code for you

Take it for a blast, engine off, go back to it and it will probably be ok.

Had an CEL light when i first replaced my MAP, nothing since doing the above.
