On the way home tonight at hypersonic speed... a mahusive bang, bit of a wobble and one big bolt in my back tyre...

I have now put on that stupid spare tyre thingie but i have in the back of my mind that it can only go on the front and i have to swap round my wheels? is this correct or have i lost the plot?

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Yep, thats what the FAQ says.

 

You will knacker more than necessary if you try to put the spare on the rear. LSD etc...

 

Thats what your handbook says as well.

Yep, had to do this recently and it's a pain in the proverbial. Bear in mind that the revised top speed is there for a reason - excessive tyre wear and reduced cornering ability are the result of ignoring the warnings
