c'mon dude it only takes <1hr and i did main beams 100W, front repeaters silvervision and side lights bluevision, just move the bottle (lift) and the alarm (4 me anyhow) out the way and pull the inside of the wheel arch cover back (pull studs)!!!!
The fiddly bit is putting the dust cover back on the mains, but hey- no sweat--- I do repair, maintain and service helicopters tho! which have WAAAAAY fiddlier(!) bits but remains easy anyhoo

happeeeee dayzzzz

ooh suns shining ...vroooooooooooooooooooooooooom

Thanks guys, made me get up off my fat arse and fit the 100w full beams.

Took me half an hour and no skin lost!
Worst part was the sodding alarm. Talk about fiddly.

Going out shortly to check them out.

As last man standing points out. Best way to gain access is to remove the series of popper fasteners to release top side of the shitshield! Assuming you have removed wheel and have the car jacked. WARNING! Ensure you have ignition off, and pay attention to the Gas discharge unit on the h/l unit. This is like a step up transformer (major voltage) and could easily kill you if contact made. Just twist ati-clockwise the bulb housings you wish to change and Bobs you uncles grandma!

Done it fitted the high beams, didnt take that long once i got me hands in there and working around Thanks for your help guys and just before the big black cloud came over and started poring on me

Although I stuck them on whilst it was greyish light and they dont seem much brighter to the eye and not too blue either - they are the Philips 100W lamps - do they really make that much difference? Ah well any excuse for a quick drive tonight

Been out tonight in the car - they are definately brighter But:

They seem to take longer to light up, and the light isnt as pure white (or bluey) as I had imagined ?

Don't think they claim to provide a white xenon type llight AE. Jut a lot of it.
Thought about the PIAA's until
1. I saw the price
2. I had to drive on a back road in a monsoon. (I was actually out testing them for the first time).

I'm definitely sticking with the Rallye's, they're brilliant!
