Default Hi ho -- hi ho

After being boosted for ten days, whilst doing some datalogging runs,we noticed a knock MY00 with 63,000 very hard miles a lot of which on track. Diagnosis is Number four big end failure. It has had the oil jet recall. After seeing the scores and that on my cams when we had the head off i had a bad feeling this may happen.

New short block on order. Looks like a month or so till its back on the road. Still at least i'll be more confident about upping the boost

Though explaining this to the misses has been the most painfull part

How do you explain this or anything to do with sending a car away to this missus in a way that doesn't arise suspicion?!

Hope it aint too painful for ya!

They are Rota torques, which i had sprayed black. They dont list the 17x8 rears in the 45 offset on there site, but they do stock them. Not quite the correct offset but they fit fine
