Default Highest S2000 BHP in UK?

Hi All,

I've just been reading through some threads on the US forums and found quite a few proven (i.e, dyno readings provided) high bhp output cars from some of the S2 tuners over there.

This inevitably got me thinking, who has the most powerful S2000 in the UK?

Perhaps in the interests of fairness we should have two catagories, 'Most Powerful N/A' and 'Most Powerful Forced'?

I couldn't find any previous thread about this through the search so let the 'Willy Waving' commence!...

Dont think you will get much response on the NA side - wrong car for big bhp figures!

I think even the ITB cars dont get more than 15 or so peak bhp.

Andrew Docherty would probably have had the highest FI.

Maybe you're right about the N/A, but this is purely in the interests of science and curiosity

I mean, does anyone actually know for sure what the max bhp is that someone's squeezed out through normal aspiration?

Without head work / different cams or throttle bodies it wont me more than 15 bhp I would bet.

But I dont think anyone here will have done that, other than some of the kit car guys. Maybe Turtle would know.

The US guys will have more info, but you tend to have to knock off about 20% for bullshit factor

N/A guys seem to be a bit secretive about power figures on the UK side.

As for the most power forced in UK my money is on.

Secretive - yep you would sometimes think it was some sort of magic circle!

Best car on here by far is Lucky's - bloody awesome spec on that thing! Blown engine aside...

The link is for the FI guys going to JAE

Think there are about a dozen FI'ed cars in the UK.

The Mase dyno tuning day earlier in the year .. there was ~ 365, 355, 315, 315 @ wheels.

Think there are a few untuned in the area of 300.

The turbo guys should be getting bigger numbers soon though.

Everyone seems a bit quiet on what they are doing though.
