I purchased a 3rd owner system that was initially purchased by brother probably about 3 years ago and it is still fine. They gave it a through check over at the Honda garage when they fitted it and the commented on the lack of wear/age. The said it looked like the new ones they were fitting.

You can buy a full stainless steel one for 655 at TDI or the normal non stainless for 495 . Plus you get 50 quid off if you're an s2uk member

I really rated my HKS....made the car what it should have been when it left the factory

My car was a garage queen in the main so the exhaust was never really exposed to the elements but in 18 months of motoring it showed no signs of corrosion

anyone got any pics of the silencers?

I am toying with the idea of getting an HKS but worried about the big noise on long drives. Maybe I am just getting old

Had to reweld the rear pipes onto the back box's a couple of weeks ago ,I wil add it was the welds that had given way and not the pipes ,I looks like a design issue rather than a fault if you look the pipes dip slightly as they enter the rear box's

Interesting finding to come out of this ,the exhaust sounds no different if you run it with out the rear cans not sure if it makes any diff to back pressure though

Is there a different model HKS that fits the 04/05 cars? Thinking about it for my new S.
