Go AEM. Hondata requires a few DC5 bits and a new rocker cover to be fitted so ends up costing alot more than the AEM which is just as good

Sorry just looked at model year. I assumed you were talking about the Hondata stand alone

Just to clarify, that hondata is for DBW cars only. If it was an older car then the AEM is cheaper, but the Hondata is easier to tune from what I have heard.

I would definatley be thinking of an aftermarket ECU, with those mods, you will be messing up the AFR and your mileage will be suffering!

I must have advised you at least 5 times already the answer to your question. As others have found with the mods you are running, your car will be running lean and in order to get the benefits to the 3000 pounds you have spent on the Mugen kit you must use the Hondata ECU reflash and have it tuned properly. Asking the question a 6th time will not get you a different answer, Ninebolts, L3SAU and a few others are the only ones who can tell you the true value of doing this, whether you decat or not

NineBolts has a similar set up to yours, although not all of his mods are Mugen; as suggested by our resident expert its worth PMing him

From what I can tell on this thread and the PMs you've sent to others (numerous times by the sound of it) then the answer is YES, get it done...
