The Euro import cars have a CAT2 immobilizer. Elephant are happy with that.

Adding an alarm or a Tracker device (which I did) made no difference to the quote.

I wish I was picking my car up on Saturday
In the past various insurance companies have told me "get you alarm asap", but your still insured.
One said you're still insured for fire and third party, but if you car's stolen you won't be insured.
It depends what you've agreed, does your quote include a Cat 1 alarm in your proposal?

Elephant weren't bothered that I don't have an alarm, but they did check that I had an immobilizer.

My car is garaged, I wonder if that makes a difference.

Mine hasn't got an alarm just the Honda immobiliser and when I asked for quote differences neither a cat1 alarm or tracker made it cheaper,
