Welcome.

Outside temperature should be no bar to dropping the roof* - get a good coat, a wooly hat and crank the heater up. The S performs especially well in cold temperatures and this is when some of the most exhilarating top-down driving can be had - especially at night

* If the roof is covered in frost/ice, it should not be folded - run the car for 10 mins or so with the heater on, warm the roof up, pull over and drop it!

Fcuk me Crispy, do you live in a converted cereals factory?

That must be a few hundered M^2 of floor!

Leave yer money safe - the car does not actually need any gewgaws, since less is really more.

Many rice bits will detract from it, unless intelligently done.

You will find these out as you enjoy the car and discover areas that you would wish to change.

Unfortunately some people dont know when to stop, case in point your local fellow owner with a barbecue for a bonnet and a picnic table bolted to the back?

Better put my handbag down now.

Do not buy an induction kit you will lose power. Replacement filter and snorkle or perhaps a VERY expensive mugen carbon jobby is the best way to go.

As for exhausts I knocked 0.5 seconds off my best 1/4er mile and added an average of 3mph to my trap speeds by fitting a full-decat T1-R single exit exhaust. Even if you attribute only half that to the exhaust (and I don't btw) then a 0.25s and 1.5mph gain is well worthwhile over 402m.

I'll will also consider lighter wheels at some point in the future to further reduce overall weight and also unsprung weight

I always love these threads where a newbie posts and disappears for days if not weeks. Meanwhile the thread is active with everybody chatting amongst themselves.
