Just inturiged more than anything

Stored air = Warmer air

Doubt you would get any sort of gains.

Looks like a ram air type chamber.

Not sure if it will perform though.

Their intake is not widely used over here on S2000 but I've seen a few pics of them in Evos etc. For the S2000 they have a two piece system that looks like it's welded together out of bean cans and a Family Circle biscuit tin.

The intake is a box that sits behind the rad it has two or three open sides that have filter elements. So it draws air from the rad rather than the normal intake air path? The second part is the link between the TB and the intake box, this is also another welded box.

no idea if it works but I think there are a load of better thought out and better made systems on the market.

What!

So the "resevoir" "stores air" does it? What's in the resevoir when it's empty? Given the volume of air the your car sucks in, exactly how much can be stored and how long can it provide a boost for? And what's wrong with that other air store known as the atmosphere?

the whole point of intake tunning is either as short as possible to eliminate frictional losses (improves top end) or a tunned length to keep velocity up this gives more mid range as it aids cylinder fill close to tdc (the exact length determines where the sweet spot is) this system does neither and puts the air intake close to the rad so its sucking hot air in, save your money

No way that will "store" enough air to make any difference.
For it to do that it would have to maintain the pressure in the intake higher than the intake manifold at the flows needed to run the engine.

So IMHO

How does this thing work? = It doesn't

Doesn't sound like there is much science behind this device. Still they say there is one born every minute....

Have any of you guys seen the buddy club time attack car. That has a ram air system that works well. its a CTR or teg, not sure which.

Do you think something like that would be possible on the S?

Id be interested to find a system that works.
