Looks like the middle of 2009 was the peak time for S2000's in the UK its becoming rarer by the day.
Apologies if its a repost I've not been on the forum much recently.

Edited to included data on 1999 vehicles (fat fingered the copy and paste into excel first time)

So are we to take it then that at the peak of cars on the road there were 8015 cars (all variants) and with the latest figures there are 424 less?
Have these missing 424 been written off then?
If that were the case I would have thought that there were more cars written off than that in an 11 year period or am I missing something?

I don't think you can't read the data quite like that..
cars will have been written off and also new ones registered in the same year.. so they would just cancel each other out.
I guess from this analysis there are at least 424 missing ones..
what surprised me was actually how many cars there were considering how few you see around.

ie In 2007 there were 7598 cars licensed of which 265 were SORN.
SORN vehicles are licensed but not taxed.
