Thumbs up How many stuffed?

Just to see how close anyone else has come and the numbers that have stuffed it in some way whether loosing the tail in a turn and hitting the kerb or spinning and getting away with it to stacking it up big style.

I haven't run out of road (always a good plan to use as much road as possible to allow a bit of room for sliding about if necessary ) or spun it yet, touch wood!

I know of at least 6 stuffed from guys on here and that must only be the tip of the iceberg if you count all the near misses that usually end with facing the wrong way up a slip road lol

Never crashed a car but have been hit by another bloke who was needless to say uninsured and I lost my no claims as they could never get anything out of him.

slightly off topic but there is supposed to be a pool of money you can apply to to pay out for uninsured damages i believe, just wondered if you got anything or had to claim against your own cover?

Yes, but..................

The guy driving the car was with a married woman who the car belonged to and the car was insured in her name. They were quite clearly having an affair as she refered to him as her boyfriend but as things proceeded with ins. co and solicitor letters, it became clear that she was still married as her husband was the other name on the insurance.

Obviously, wifey didn't want her husband to know who was really driving the car as he might have started to ask the odd akward questions as to who this random bloke was driving and then crashing their car so they never admitted fault or even who was actually driving the car. I was gagging for it to go to court but unfortunately it never did.

Unfortunately, to get money out of the slush fund, they have to admit fault and who was driving the car which they did neither of.

sounds complicated, could you not have used what you knew to get her to admit it was her fault?

Why didn't you ask wifey for a personal cheque to cover your NCB and insurance loading? If not forthcoming, then drop the husband an anonymous letter with some snaps (I always keep a disposable camera in my car ... just in case). You might not have got your no claims back but you could have given the other party some grief too.

blackmail the b*tch. Screw her up. Write a letter to her house, which should get her worried. She will pay. How come it didn't get to court?
