How much of a problem is the S2000 for a 6' 2" driver
Well I have been going through the forum looking for information on this. I have taken the car for a 20 minute test drive, and it felt OK, but can the tall drivers out there tell me what issues I may get into.
When I tested the car I had the seat as far back as it would go, with the top up I have more head clearance than I do on my Fiat Coupe, or the BMW Z3 that I sat in. I suppose the issue is, on a long trip I tend to change the recline position of the seat, but that will be rather limited for me in the S2000.
So can the tall people out there tell the good and the bad

I believe it is possible to lower the seat. Check this out:

I'm 6ft 1' and don't have a problem at all. I'd say it's one of the easiest 2 seater's to live with on a daily basis - even when it's got the hard top on. Most of my height is in my legs which I suppose saves any issues of being tall enough to look over the windscreen when the roof is down! There is plenty of legroom - and it is so easy to get in and out of - unlike the Elise!
WRT changing the recline position on a long journey - this car (along with all similar 2 seaters) was not designed with comfort as the No. 1 priority. I could now go off on one about the virtues of this car - but I haven't got all night
, so I'll just say that personally when I am behind the wheel of my S I have never found the seat position an issue on long journeys - I just choose to revel in the driving experience!!!!

I just remembered Chris (Tifosi Red) saying to me last night that after the 500 mile round trip for the Basingstoke meet, he got out of the car feeling fresh as a daisy. In fact, as we speak, he's getting ready to shoot off to Barcelona tomorrow in the S2000. I wish I was going now
I am 6'2" and have no issues at all.
Took the car upto Alton Towers last week, 420 mile round trip and was the best journey I have done.
O/T Alton Towers new ride 'Air' is superb, but to really enjoy it you have to go on the front. If you don't you just end up looking at the person in fronts ar*e

I'm 6'4" - The seating is good, but not great. I am definitely examining the impact of new seats with side rails - supposedly 3" lower. My problem is both with the top of the car (looking over the top) and the steering wheel (to the right - there's not much room for my leg between the wheel on the console.). Audi TT has much, much legroom, as does the M3. The Z3 was particularly uncomfortable. The Boxster I've driven over 800 miles in 2 days and had no problems. I don't have that amount of long haul time in the s2000. If I was 6'2", I think I'd have no problems at all...
Well, I'm only 5'8", but I'm looking at lower seats. The concept of having my helmetted head under the rool hoops on track is appealing! Oh, and I find the stock seats nice for the road, but useless at holding you on track.
One thing, if you're thinking about lowering a stock UK seat, or fitting aftermarket seats, is that the UK alarm (if you have it) does not mount in the same position as the US alarm. If you're thinking about changing seats, and you want to know the issues, PM me.
