where is it stuck? check out my thread and the one by Mytse, referenced in my thread...

You will have to remove the roll hoops from the chassis, not the plastic but the actual hoops, leave the plastic in-tact.

There are about 5 bolts each side for the mechanism on the side and 1 on the rear facing out of the car..
There are 3 bolts on the motors.

Don't forget the rain strip which is bolted to the car.

Simon,

I'm currently doing this to, and I've fallen at the first hurdle. I can't seem to get the central console/glove box to come away. I've remove all the screws that I can find. It's very loose at the front and feels generally loose all over but feels as if something towards the rear is still fixing it in place. Is this just more clips that need a good amount of force to remove them, or is there something else?

I've not yet got the large rear tray out because I can't for the life of me see how I can get that out without removing the roll bars first - are there some central glove box fittings screws under there?

Cheers

Gary

Cut your old hood material off at the back...this will allow you to see what is holding the rear tray on.

garyvo, you can either cut the roof material or unbolt where it attaches to teh body and then you can lift it up

There are two screws holding hte centre console at the base, near teh spare wheel, dont forget the one in the compartment aswell!

Cheers guys, I'll take another look at it tonight. I definitely haven't found the two at the base near the spare wheel.

Turns out I needed to persist removing the rear tray main section. Once that's out, you can access the two screws at the bottom/rear of the glove box cover, and then follow your nose the rest of the way though.

Cheers guys.
